Repair rusty oil pans! Start by straightening and smoothing any dents. Test any major rusty areas by trying to puncture with a screwdriver. If the screwdriver punctures the metal, cutout the area and weld a patch. To stop and prevent rust, clean and degreaser the oil pan, neutralize and etch the metal, and coat with two thin coats of POR-15 Rust Preventive Undercoating. Our 3-Step Stop Rust System offers oil pan coating, the ideal protection for any difficult repair and restoration that required impact resistance and rust protection.
