How do you fill holes without welding?

Floor pan repair step 1 — This floorboard has lots of rust-through, but it can be fixed.

Floor pan repair step 2 — First, thoroughly clean with POR-15 Cleaner Degreaser and rinse off.

Floor pan repair step 3 — Next, prep the surface with POR-15 Metal Prep, rinse off, and let dry.

Floor pan repair step 4 — Cut a section of Power Mesh Reinforcing Fabric to fit the area. Be sure to use gloves and goggles for this project!

Floor pan repair step 5 — Coat the floorboard with POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating (Silver used here) and while wet, place the POR-15 Power Mesh Reinforcing Fabric onto it. Add a few coats of POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating on top, working it into the fabric.

Floor pan repair step 6 — Once the coated POR-15 Power Mesh Reinforcing Fabric dries but is slightly tacky, it can then be coated with an opaque topcoat if it will be exposed to UV light. The result is a strong rock-hard finish.

Great product

Bought a gallon of POR15 with the power mesh fibers. It's completely transformed the look of the vehicle and the power mesh has added strength to a few area's otherwise weakened by years of neglect. My only complaint is how that if you get it on your skin it doesn't come off. Incredibly easy product to use for beginners though. Put it on with a paint bush and watch it self level.

Good stuff

Easy to use and does what it’s supposed to. Just be sure if you get it on your hands to remove it right away. Otherwise it’ll take several days to wear off.
