Smash it! Pound it! Bend it! It’s hammer tough. POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating won’t crack, chip, or peel.

POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating is a high performance coating designed to paint directly on prepped rusted or seasoned metal surfaces to stop rust permanently. POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating is non-porous and seals and protects many surfaces from water, chemicals, salt, and other corrosive contaminants and is able to be painted over rust. This anti-rust coating paint is an effective anti-corrosive and rust preventive coating that offers superior chemical resistance due to its dense, cross-linked molecular composition and non-porous attributes.

The secret lies in POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating's curing process. Most paints dry through evaporation, but POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating dries faster when moisture is present. This rust inhibitive paint has the opposite chemistry of ordinary paints. Now add to that POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating incredible hardness, toughness, and flexibility and you have a coating that is practically indestructible. POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating is a permanent rust repair great for auto frame and chassis restoration, protecting valuable equipment against rust and corrosion. Use POR-15 Cleaner Degreaser and POR-15 Metal Prep to properly get your surface ready for the POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating. You'll be amazed at the toughness!

Por-15 Rust Preventive Coatings

I went through the steps to prep surfaces. I used a brush to coat the metal. I was amazed at the results. It had very little brush marks.Looks like I sprayed the paint.I will definitely use the product again!

So far So good - Utility Trailer

Used this on my utility trailer. First using a wirewheel attachment on a grinder, got all the loose rust off. I then hosed everything off, let dry and then used the POR metal prep. Let it dry and then painted it (manly where the rust was) using a regular paintbrush. One quart lasted for two coats on a utility trailer where the rust was. Went on very smooth and left a gloss finish. No brush marks. The fact that it took about a week to get the splattered paint off my body tells me that this thing is strong and works! I did use topcoat since this stuff is not UV resistant. I highly recommend both the paint and the metal prep. I didn't use the cleaner because I pretty much prepared the surface with the grinder.
