Unlike traditional 2K aerosols that expire within hours, POR-15 2K Top Coat remains usable for up to 6 months, reducing waste and maximizing value. It delivers superior adhesion, corrosion protection, impacts, and high resistance to chemicals, fuel, scratches, and UV. Compatible with metal, aluminum, fiberglass, and most plastics. POR-15 2K Top Coat offers smooth, professional results with an easy application.

Available in a range of automotive, heavy duty machinery, industrial, and farm-matched colors. Also available in a non-yellowing clear coat that can be applied direct-to surface or over other UV safe base colors for extra protection from UV fade, impacts, and scratches. The 2K Top Coat clear can be cut and polished like a traditional automotive clear for a super smooth shiny finish.

*All opaque colors are compatible with POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating (Stop Rust System) for maximum durability and UV protection. The 2K Clear is not recommended over the POR-15 Rust Preventive Coating.

SURFACE PREPARATION: Sand to roughen bare metal, old paint, and surface imperfections with 180-220 grit, or use a coarse media blast if available. Clean thoroughly with POR-15® Cleaner Degreaser, then treat the surface with POR-15® Metal Prep to etch and neutralize it. If applying to bare metal, application of POR-15® Rust Preventive Coating is recommended as a primer for high-performance corrosion protection. When applying over POR-15® Rust Preventive Coating, it’s best to spray POR-15® 2K Top Coat (opaque colors only) when the Rust Preventive Coating is dry to the touch, but is slightly tacky (has a finger drag). If the POR-15® Rust Preventive Coating has fully cured, lightly scuff the surface with 280–320 grit paper, then clean and degrease again. Once the surface is completely dry, apply POR-15® 2K Top Coat. 

APPLICATION: Shake can in all directions for 3 minutes before and during use. Keep the can distance 6-10 IN from surface while applying. Apply 2-3 coats in a crosshatch pattern while overlapping the previous pass. Spray the first coat from top to bottom, passing beyond each surface edge as you go. Spray the second coat from right to left, passing the surface edge as you go. Spray upside down for five seconds to clean nozzle when done.

PRECAUTIONARY STATEMENTS: If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Wear protective gloves, protective clothing, eye protection and face protection Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 120ºF/49ºC. Dispose of the contents and its container using the separate collection system in your municipality. 

FIRST AID: FOR INHALATION: If you experience difficulty breathing, leave area to obtain fresh air. If continued breathing difficulty is experienced, get medical attention immediately. IF INGESTION/ASPIRATION: DO NOT induce vomiting; Rinse out the mouth and throat and immediately call Poison Control Center and have label available. FOR SKIN CONTACT: Wash thoroughly with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash clothing before reuse. Get medical attention if skin irritation occurs or you feel unwell. FOR EYE CONTACT: Flush eyes immediately with plenty of fresh water. Do not rub or close their eyes. Remove contact lenses if possible. Continue eye flushing with water for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention immediately.
